Registration

Entry Fee: $35

Registration Details: Opens Friday, February 24th at 9am. Registration deadline is Sunday, February 26th at 9pm. No exceptions.

Teams must provide name and contact information for Head Coach, Parent Rep, racer social chaperone, and gate judges (one per race, per sex - $150 fine per race if you do not provide a gate judge).

Start Orders: Start orders are due by Sunday, February 26th at 9pm. Head coaches should email completed start order to Mike McManus at archerhit@frontier.com.

Tickets: 3 day racer pass good for Wednesday - Friday can be purchased during registration for $137. Single day tickets can be purchased directly at Hoodoo for $49 each.

Racer & Team Check-In Options: 

8 AM - 4 PM Wednesday: in the lodge at Hoodoo

5 PM - 7 PM Wednesday: at the Best Western Ponderosa in Sisters

Only a coach or head parent rep needs to check-in - athletes do not. Check-in for teams and individuals must be completed by Wednesday at 4 PM.

WEDNESDAY TRAINING: See matrix below for training lane assignments. Teams must provide their own gates. A coach or parent rep must be at the top of the course at all times. Helmets are mandatory.

COACHES MEETING: Will be held at the Best Western Ponderosa Lodge in Sisters in the Ponderosa Meeting room.

RACE OFFICIALS' MEETINGS: Will be held at the Best Western Ponderosa Lodge in the Ponderosa Meeting room.

GATE JUDGES: You will be required to attend a Mandatory Gate Judge meeting on Wednesday night at Sister's High School at 7 pm. Please plan accordingly.

WAXING / TUNING: Will be available upstairs in the south lodge at Hoodoo and in the parking lot at the Ponderosa Lodge in Sisters. Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm - 9pm. Please bring your own table. Electrical outlets will be available.

RACE RULES: OISRA Alpine Race Rules and team scoring will apply to the State Championships. There will be a modified "FLIP 30" for second run start order.

 

VOLUNTEER RACE DAY CHECK-IN: Check-in for officials, gate judges, and other race workers is in the North Main Lodge. See Race Day Schedule for your check-in time.

BIBS: Athletes will be issued one bib for the entirety of the event (both races). Bibs will be distributed to coaches at the coach meeting on Wednesday night. If a racer is only racing one of the two days, he/she will receive a bib assignment for that day.

AWARDS: The awards ceremony will be immediately following the race at the North Lodge, front patio. There will be a bonfire, sound system, and meal offered with pre-order during registration for $15/person.

RACER SOCIAL: Wednesday night from 5:30 PM - 8 PM. This will be held in downtown Sisters at Fir Street Park (150 N Fir Street). There will be music, food from Longboard Louie's, raffle prizes, corn hole, and swag pick up.

PROFESSIONAL RACE PHOTOGRAPHY: Mike Juliana Photography has been the official photographer of the Alpine State Championships for the past 11 years. He will be taking action and candid photos during all events of the Alpine League's State Championships. Many of you are familiar with Mike's work from past state races.

Get all of your GS, SL, candid and awards shots from the race for $60. Photos will be delivered digitally and you will also get your own personal online gallery so you can share your photos with family and friends. Delivery will be about a week after the end of the race. You can order online during registration for State or you can order on the Mike Juliana website directly: www.mikejulianaphotography.com/Skiracing
